2025 Cars & Coffee at Porsche Monterey Photos

On March 15, 2025, the Porsche dealer in conjunction with 000 Magazine held a Cars and Coffee for Porsche owners, and members of Monterey Bay Region were there in force, including president Mark McMahon, vice-president Al Munoz-Flores, Treasurer Paul Sedillos and Activities manager (and nametag guru) Steve Ponsi. Catered coffee and snacks included burritos, fresh fruit, yogurt, nuts, cucumber/mango juice and tangerines. On display was a 2007 911 GT3 that had been rescued from under a tree and was scheduled to be restored in time for the next Werks Reunion.

Pete Stout, cofounder of 000 magazine, gave a talk about the 911 Turbo S on display that is being raffled off to some lucky winner (tickets are $25). This car has the 000 package, which is the same package as their 911 Turbo S that they took to the Pikes Peak race. It ran the race as stock as possible, competing against purpose-built cars, and came in second, with a time under 10 minutes! Pete is a very outgoing guy and came in his Brewster Green 911, which he drove down from Marin County, where the magazine is based. If you haven’t seen 000 magazine, it’s an impressive publication. Copies were handed out at the event, but if you missed it, the dealer may have some on their coffee table where you wait for your car (unless someone walks off with it).
