At last night’s membership meeting, Mark announced the winners of the Springtime Sojourn Photo Contest.
The theme of the contest was “Capture the Essence…” with the intent of highlighting the unique moments and impressions we experienced along the way – whether it’s the people, the cars or the scenery and destinations.
Prizes were awarded in the following categories:
- Best People Shot — Capture the camaraderie, laughter, and shared spirit of the group.
- Best Candid Moment — Unscripted, authentic reactions – those blink-and-you-miss-it moments.
- Best Car Shot – Think beyond just the cars themselves and include landscapes, scenery, destinations, group, on the road or action shots.
- Best Creative Shot — Think artistic – unique angles, abstract compositions, colors, light and shadows.
Best People Shot
- Winner – Tony Prock, Members Judging Porsches
- Runner-up – David Aliotti, Cheers for Lunch!


Best Candid Moment
- Winner – Michael Hesse, Ted Voigt with Flowers
- Runner-up – Vega Roecker, Leaving Windmill Market


Best Car Shot
- Winner (tie) – Michael Hesse, Porsches at Mission Soledad
- Winner (tie) – David Aliotti, Porsches on Tour


Best Creative Shot
- Winner – Steve Rouland, Porsche logo with Carbon Fiber
- Runner-up – Patrick Piccoli, Reflections in Side View Mirror


The grand prize winner was Michael Hesse’s “Porsches at Mission Soledad”.
