Last Tuesday, the Vin Wine Bar in conjunction with the Monterey Bay Region celebrated our 4th Annual Porsche Pit Cru. We had over 50 Porsches, ranging from the 1950s to current models, on display for this Monterey Car Week event. The First Tee of Monterey County was the featured charity.
Our Porsches started to arrive at 3PM and were checked in by Al Munoz-Flores, Dave Terdy, Connie Hong-Smith and Mark McMahon. Depending on year and model, they were then directed to Chris Larson or Tony Prock who placed each vehicle in a specific parking spot.
With the cars parked, it was time to enjoy the late afternoon at The Crossroads. Vin Bar served champagne, wine and small bites. Members and guests socialized while enjoying the collection of Porsches. The band was fabulous. First Tee had a Lexus SUV on display that they are raffling off on their website at firstteemontereycounty.org/2025-win-a-lexus-change-a-life/.
Mark announced the award winners from the judging contest:
- First Place – Victor Gomez, 1957 356 Modified
- Second Place – Nick Overdevest, 2022 Cayman GT4
- Third Place – Tony Cartelli, 1973 911 Hot Rod
