Monterey Bay Region celebrated the 70th anniversary of the Porsche Club of America with a dinner event at Veloce Valuations in Monterey. Food was catered by Michael’s Grill & Taqueria in Pacific Grove and special 70th anniversary cookies were provided by Freedom Bakery in Monterey.
Steve Kittrell of Veloce and Adam Mohr of Mohr Imports discussed the ins and outs of selling and buying a Porsche.
Several MBR members brought their cars for display inside the building representing the various eras of Porsche, and described how they acquired the car as well as its features, including Adam Mohr’s 1959 Glacier White 356, Steve Ponsi’s 1967 soft window 912 Targa, Jack Angel’s 1984 3.2 liter 911, Mark McMahan’s Boxster, Ted Voigt’s 911 special edition that previously belonged to Ben Pon and a new iridium green 911 GT RS.
