On this event we will visit Cal Pacific Airmotive in Salinas on Saturday, February 7th. We will meet at Chili’s at 8:30 so we can get to their Salinas location about 9:30 to begin the Tour.
The owner of this amazing shop will welcome us and teach us about the restoration of P51 Mustang aircraft from WWII, which is their specialty. Our club member, Ron Cline, works at Cal Pacific and will show us their model making and machining areas.
After the tour, we will head out to Spreckels and to the T&A Cafe where Steve Fields took a group of us last year. This small restaurant on the grounds of the T&A headquarters in Spreckels serves fantastic BBQ which I know you will enjoy. There is no pre-payment required for this lunch as we pay them when we order.
