Enjoy a picturesque springtime drive over the Pacheco Pass, past the Mighty San Luis Reservoir, and down to the floor of the Central Valley where we will arrive at the Famously Popular Wool Growers Restaurant in Los Banos.

Departure – Prunedale Shopping Center – 8065 San Miguel Canyon Rd (registration 8:30am/departure promptly at 9:00am)
Stop #1 – Romero Visitor’s Center. Overlooking the San Luis Reservoir, the largest off-stream reservoir in the United States
Stop #2 – Alpaca Farm Visit and Orientation. “Feel the Wool” of these cute and docile creatures
Arrival – The Wool Grower’s Restaurant. Built in the 1890’s to serve the French Basque Farming Community. It is still going strong today! Its popularity derives from its communal tables, family style dining, and rustic atmosphere.

Following lunch you are free to explore the area and return home at your leisure.

Prepaid cost for the day including standard 8-item lunch $28.00 per person – any other items will be charged separately.

Round trip driving distance is approximately 125 miles.

Group shall be limited to 40 club members on a first come first served basis once registration opens via club-wide email.

To register for the event, use the booking form below. The event is limited to 40 participants and online bookings will end on Thursday, March 19th at 10PM.

PayPal is being used by the Club for its payment gateway. When you click the “Send your booking” button, you will be transferred from our site to the secured PayPal site. No sensitive data is asked for or stored on our site. Upon completion of your payment, you will be returned to our site. An email confirmation will be sent to you.

You do not need a PayPal account. There is a PayPal Guest Checkout option available. However, if you have a PayPal account and use a credit/debit card that is registered to an account, your transaction may be rejected. In this case, PayPal wants you to login to your account.
