I will lead a tour into the Santa Cruz Mountains on Sunday Sept 10.  This is the weekend after Labor Day.

We will depart from Chili’s in Seaside as we often do at 9:30.  Drivers meeting will be at 9:15.  Tour will take us North along the coast to our first stop at Soquel High School.  This was where we gathered for the Winter Tour to Canepa Motorsports.  From there we will drive San Jose Soquel Road to the summit and stop at the Summit Store.  Next, over Highway 17 on Summit Road to Highway 35.  Then, turn west on Bear Creek Road to Highway 9.  We will stop again at Highlands Park near Ben Lomond.  If time permits and the group is interested, we could take a short hike to see a waterfall on the San Lorenzo River.  From there, we continue southwest to Felton and then back east to Scotts Valley.  Lunch will be at Bruno’s Bar and Grill where we have reserved the roof top lounge!  We will order off the regular menu so pre-payment is not required.  But please register so I can tell the restaurant how many of us will attend.

Registration closes Friday, September 8th at 10pm. The event is limited to 50 people.
