Once again it is time to celebrate Fall and for those of us who enjoy German cars that means Oktoberfest.  This year, it will be on Sunday, October 11^th at Beeline European Auto Service in Santa Cruz.  I am happy to announce that Loma Prieta Region will again join us for this celebration.

As in past years, Oktoberfest will feature an optional Tour to the location, a catered lunch and, thanks to the team at Beeline, a presentation on what is involved in performing a PPI on a potential car purchase.  This will be followed by a Q&A session with their technicians.

The lunch will be catered by our friend Shahram who provides us with wonderful food at our Concours every year.  For this party, it will include a German-inspired spread of sausages, salads, beer, wine and dessert.  Price for lunch is a very reasonable $35 per person plus $5 for each drink desired (choose beer or wine). Water and soda are free.  So, if you want to purchase 2 lunches and 2 beers, it would be $80.  Lunch will be served at 12:30.

There will be a tour from Monterey and one from Santa Cruz, both with planned arrival at Beeline about noon.  You can join either Tour or meet us at Beeline for lunch.  Detailed Tour instructions will be provided as the date gets closer.

The Monterey tour will meet at Chili’s in Seaside at 9:15am with drivers’ meeting at 9:30am and departure at 9:45am.  For Monterey Tour questions, please contact Mark McMahon.

To register for the event, use the booking form below. There is space for a maximum of 60 vehicles.  Registration closes on Wednesday, Oct 7^that 9:00pm.

Instructions – One car is selected by default for each booking. Select the number of lunches and beer or wine selections. We prefer members to order beer or wine in advance, but you will be able to purchase additional drinks at the event. Be sure to indicate if you are going on the driving tour.

Stripe (for debit/credit cards) and PayPal are used by the Club for its payment gateways. In both cases, you will be transferred from our site to their secured payment site. No credit card or PayPal account data is stored on our site. Upon completion of your payment, you will be returned to our site. An email booking confirmation will be sent to you.

If you have a problem or prefer to pay by check, select “Pay with Offline Payment” (select in drop-down menu). Make your check payable to “PCA-Monterey Bay Region” and mail to: Paul Sedillos, MBY Treasurer, PO Box 524, Monterey, CA 93942. Please allow enough time so that your check is received before the event.
