SUMMARY:2026 SLO County Coastal Escape
DESCRIPTION:Our Coastal Escape will be a 3-day overnight trip\, Friday\, Ju
 ne 5th to Sunday\, June 7th. This year\, our tour will take us down Highwa
 y 1 to the Cambria and Paso Robles and then to San Luis Obispo before head
 ing back north to San Simeon and finally King City.\n\nFriday\n\nWe will m
 eet in Carmel at the Crossroads Center behind Starbucks at 8:30am and leav
 e at 9am to arrive in Cambria for lunch at Linn's Restaurant about 12:00. 
 There will be some stops along the way. After lunch\, members can choose a
  short hike at Fiscalini Ranch Preserve or to simply walk around Cambria.\
 n\nAt 2:30pm\, we will drive to Paso Robles for wine tasting at Castoro Ce
 llars. Enjoy a selec­tion of five tastes for $25 (includes tax and tip). 
 Please select below if you are wine tasting. A deposit is required for the
  group.\n\nWe will get to the Hotel Siri in Paso Robles about 5:00pm. Dinn
 er will be at 6pm at Basil Thai Restaurant in downtown Paso Robles.\n\nAft
 er dinner\, those who are interested will visit Sensorio to see the amazin
 g light shows at this popular attraction. Payment to the club in advance w
 ill be required for this show so please indicate below if you wish to atte
 nd.\n\nSaturday\n\nThinking about Saturday\, I feel a slow morning will be
  welcomed after a very busy Friday. So\, we will have breakfast at 9:00am 
 at Touch of Paso restaurant. Then we will take a fun drive through the cou
 ntry to San Luis Obispo where we will visit Mission San Luis Obispo and ha
 ve lunch at Beda's Biergarten. The owner is a Porsche fan and he welcomed 
 us in 2023.\n\nAfterwards\, we will enjoy more winding roads north to end 
 in San Simeon at the Coast Riders Inn which is owned by our club member Bu
 ddy. Dinner will be 7pm at Robin's Restaurant in Cambria. Please bring cas
 h or a check for this dinner.\n\nSunday\n\nOn Sunday\, we will drive North
  on Highway 1 to Sand Dollar Beach for a rest stop\, then east on the amaz
 ing Nacimiento-Fergusson Road. After a stop at Mission San Antonio de Padu
 a\, we will drive to the King City Grill for lunch. This will be the concl
 usion of the Tour. Members can choose to drive home via Highway 101\, Rive
 r Road or Carmel Valley Road.\n\n\n\nBoth hotels will need to be booked by
  attendees directly. Please do this ASAP after registering for the tour as
  space is limited at the hotels.\n\nHotel Siri (Friday night): Please book

 \n\nTo register for the event\, use the booking form below.  First\, sign
  up for the tour itself (no cost) by specifying the number of attendees an
 d their names. Optionally\, select the wine tasting tour at Castoro Cellar
 s ($25) and/or the Sensorio experience ($65).\n\nThe maximum number of att
 endees is 30. Online registration closes on Monday\, June 1st at 9PM.\n\nS
 tripe (for debit/credit cards) and PayPal are used by the Club for its pay
 ment gateways. In both cases\, you will be transferred from our site to th
 eir secured payment site. No credit card or PayPal account data is stored 
 on our site. Upon completion of your payment\, you will be returned to our
  site. An email booking confirmation will be sent to you.\n\nIf you have a
  problem or prefer to pay by check\, select “Pay with Offline Payment”
