Join us for our third year to Elkhorn Slough for a “Return to Elkhorn Slough”. The Tour provides amazing wildlife viewing aboard the El Cat, an innovative, custom, fully electric catamaran, built in Moss Landing. As we glide slowly, cleanly and quietly through the meandering channels led by the experienced captain and crew, we will be treated to a spectacle of vibrant wetlands and lush marshes teeming with an array of wildlife. During the tour, we will see otters, sea lions, harbor seals, and a diverse population of birds, as the Elkhorn Slough is part of the Pacific Flyway. Join us on a one-of-a-kind, electric-powered catamaran ride for a narrated wildlife tour along one of California’s largest tidal waterways.

The 32 participants for our Tour to Elkhorn Slough will begin by meeting promptly at 8:00 AM at Chili’s restaurant in Seaside on Saturday, September 19th. We will have our driver’s meeting and signing of Waivers and depart at 8:30 am for an enjoyable drive.

Because we will need to be on the Boat by 10:00 AM we request that if you are going directly to the boat, you arrive no later than 9:45 AM. A Jacket, sun screen, and camera are recommended. Food and beverages (including beer and wine) are also permitted to be brought on the boat.

After the tour will proceed North directly to the Sea Harvest Restaurant for Lunch at 12:00 PM.

A copy of the menu at Sea Harvest for your review will be sent to you prior to the event. It will be very helpful if you decide what you plan to order so that we will be able to complete the ordering of our lunch in a timely manner facilitate ordering lunch. After placing your order, you will pay for your meal, and be given a buzzer that will call you when it is ready.

In the event that the changes of plans interfere with your schedule and you are not able to attend either the Boat Tour or the Lunch please notify me no later than Friday, September 11, 12:00 PM.

To register for the event, use the booking form below. The cost is $30 per member. The maximum number of attendees is 32. Online registration closes on Friday, September 19th at 12:00PM.

Stripe (for debit/credit cards) and PayPal are used by the Club for its payment gateways. In both cases, you will be transferred from our site to their secured payment site. No credit card or PayPal account data is stored on our site. Upon completion of your payment, you will be returned to our site. An email booking confirmation will be sent to you.
