Update 2/24/23 2:30PM – Shamrock Tour 2 has been scheduled for March 25th.
Update 2/21/23 7:02PM
Hello Porsche Friends,
I am happy to report that demand for our upcoming Shamrock Tour to Highway 25 booked to capacity in less than 24 hours! While this is rewarding for the organizers, I can appreciate how it could be frustrating for those who attempted to register only to find the tour was already full.
As a result, we have decided to put on a second tour to this region that will be called Shamrock Tour 2. At this time, we don’t yet have a confirmed date, but we hope to have that soon. We will aim for another weekend in March. When that is defined, you will receive another email from me announcing Shamrock Tour 2 with a link to a new registration page. If you want to attend, please register quickly as it is possible Tour 2 will also fill up. And if you already registered for the original Shamrock Tour, please do not register for Tour 2 to allow more of our members the opportunity to participate.
Thank you all for showing such enthusiasm for our event! It makes those of us on the Board of Directors excited to create more of them in the future.

On March 18th, we will hold our second Tour Event of the year celebrating St. Patrick’s Day. For the Tour, we meet at the Windmill Market in San Juan Bautista on the morning of the 18th. We are calling it the Shamrock Tour. It will take us from San Juan Bautista, down Highway 25 past the Pinnacles and over to King City where we will have a nice lunch at Cork and Plough on Broadway.
After an enjoyable meal, we will travel north along the foothills to Soledad where we will gather at Mission Soledad as St Patrick would have wanted. This is one of the few missions that is not yet restored and it is fascinating to see what is new and the old ruins from the original Mission.
Special thanks to Ted Voigt who has planned this tour for us.
This beautiful drive through the hills of San Benito County will proceed rain or shine. Unlike the Big Sur tour, please bring money for lunch with you as we will order off the menu and pay the restaurant the day of the event.
To register for the event, use the booking form below. The event is limited to 35 participants and online bookings will end Thursday, March 16th at 10PM.
To confirm that you are booked, click on the “Show Bookings” button below. You may need to refresh this page (use circular arrow icon at the top) to update the list.
